Covid-19 appeal seeks to raise £160k

We’re looking to raise £160,000 in the next three months to cover our expected shortfall in funding. Please support our Covid-19 appeal if you can.

Pembroke House has been a centre for the community in Walworth, south-east London, since 1885.

We care deeply about our local community – and today, that community needs support more than ever before.

We’re doing everything we can:

  • Becoming a Food Distribution Centre to get vital food packages and supplies to local people.
  • Setting up a Virtual Walworth Living Room, helping people stay healthy and active through FREE virtual activities like an online choir; a music group for babies, toddlers and parents; and drawing, dance, chess and meditation sessions.
  • Launching a new Info Walworth Website to share important, up-to-date information about services, activities and opportunities in our neighbourhood.

But this is only the beginning. We need to keep growing these initiatives, offering more virtual activities and supporting more people most in need.

And we need your help. We’re trying to raise £160,000 in the next three months to cover our expected shortfall in funding.

It’s a big target, and we’re asking individuals and grants and trusts to help us reach it. But every donation is a step closer to our goal, no matter the size.

Can you help us take the next step?

We rely on the kindness of people like you.
